Learning and Development

At Subsea 7 we believe that our people are central to our success and that we will only build a successful business around a valued and motivated workforce. 

Our continued aim is to provide our people with the opportunities to develop the skills, knowledge and experience that will allow them to perform at their best and to make the most of their potential.


Through our central learning hub, Academy 7, we offer a framework of global learning to all our people which supports their development and career. This includes online learning, an ongoing webinar series, access to books and mentoring schemes. All of this is in addition to the local training and development events available to them. So, if any of our people have identified a development need in their ‘Compass’ performance review there’s plenty of development on hand to support them.

We also have a range of Development Schemes which help our people develop their capabilities to grow in their current role or in a future role.  We believe in supporting the careers of our people and, whatever a career means to each of them, there is a range of tools to help them take ownership for the future they want at Subsea 7.
