| Project Surveyor |
Position Description:
•Provides advice and support for technical solutions to projects and the preparation of highest quality procedures in alignment with Company's standard Survey Procedures.
•Co-ordinates project survey resources, equipment, software, consumables and other requirements.
•Briefs field personnel on project requirements.
•Controls quality of project specific procedures, fieldwork, computations and reports.
•Occasionally undertakes the position of the senior surveyor in an offshore role for complex and / or critical survey operations.
•Controls quality of survey charts and drawings produced by Survey and Inspection Group (SIG)
•Maintains department drawing records
•Liaises with and works with the Senior Project Surveyor to ensure consistency of service, practice and procedures.
•Provides consultancy support services to other projects as required and directed by the Senior Project Surveyor.

Job Description:
•Focal point for all Project HSE matters; Provides a support function to project management, ensuring adequate HSE input;
•Generates Project HSE Plan and aligns objectives and systems with company requirements;
•Conduct Contractor and subcontractor Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance Project Audits as required;
•Ensure compliance with Project, Company and legislative HSE requirements
•Coordinate HSE Training for the project;
•Oversee and monitor investigation of accident and other undesired events; Assist in implementation of activities to prevent reoccurrence; Follow up for implementation of remedial and corrective actions;
•Supervises, co-ordinates and monitors HSE performance on projects.

Position Overview.
A key role in Subsea 7, which provides a commercial management function focal point for Subsea 7 at Regional/Business Unit level that has visibility of the whole contracting chain: main contract & subcontract. Ensuring the Company utilizes best in class commercial structures, strategies & solutions contributes positively to the management of our technical, scheduling, performance and commercial risk and is essential to enable to the Company to continue its global growth. Working with the business acquisition, operations, procurement & materials (P&M) and project teams within the Region, the Global Commercial/Procurement Team and with Global groups such as Vessel & Equipment Management Group, the Region Commercial Manager will provide focus on strategic, proactive initiatives that will deliver value and benefit to Subsea 7, our customers and our suppliers and vendors.
Key Deliverables of the Region Commercial Manager Role.
•Achieve strategic optimization of contractors, particularly the Company’s suppliers of ‘Critical Supplies’ services.
•Ensure the Company’s values of “Safe, Clean, Smart, Fair, Anywhere” are applied to all interactions with contractors.
•Maintain health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) performance in the realm of commercial management in the Region.
•Manage the Region’s commercial management resources and requirements to meet the Region’s 5 Year Plan.

•Develop personal & career development plans for commercial management personnel within the Region.
