Every year Subsea 7 recruit in the region of 35 graduates, interns and trainees across our sites. Graduates in the UK and Norway join our structured four year program and gain chartered engineer status by achieving specific core competencies that meet the requirements of the engineering institutions. Interns in Asia Pacific and the Gulf of Mexico are given a mentor and on the job training which creates great opportunities for learning and gaining experience.
Student engineers in Brazil are recruited into a trainee programme in Rio de Janeiro as part of their engineering studies.It is a structured 2 year program and students become integral members of the engineering project teams. Company training and mentoring is provided throughout for all our trainee's and the end result is formal registration with CREA as fully qualified engineers. Following the 2 year program they are employed as Level 1 Engineers and the company continues to have a high success rate employing 100% of the trainees almost every year.
